The VPs/Heads/Chiefs or the people in equivalent positions are directly responsible for the HR analytics, people systems, and human capital analytic. Their job responsibilities include the following:

Collection and analysis of data:

They collect data and analyze it on various HR dimensions like recruitment, retention, deployment, and training. They find issues faced by the organization in these processes and resolve them.

Inter-team functionality:

They work in liaison with other teams like HR, M&E, HRIS, etc. to collect data related to retention, productivity, promotion, pay and wages and benefits, etc.

Data-driven decision making:

They are required to facilitate data-driven decision-making on various aspects like revenue per employee, training expenses for each employee, voluntary turnover and retention rate, absenteeism, and human capital risk analysis.

HRIS systems efficacy:

They use the HR analytics data and analyze it to fill in the gaps of HRIS system efficacy and develop and suggest the strategies to improve to increase its utility. The HRIS-related data can further be deployed to collect HR-related data to analyze HR-related policy implementation and enhances the organization by bringing out the result in a quantitative manner.
